Lady Slipper Studio and Farm
  • Each child must be supervised by his/her parent or guardian. If younger siblings are in attendance, they must be either in a stroller or backpack OR supervised by an additional parent or guardian. Parents/guardians are responsible for their own safety, as well as their children during each activity.
  • Everyone, including adults, must wear closed-toed shoes to each farm visit. Children should wear socks, shirts, shorts or long pants. We suggest that you use sunscreen and insect repellent.
  • Receive instructions from farm owners/directors before touching any farm animals and fences (some may be electrified) or walking into any gardens, pastures, buildings, or stalls.
  • Do not feed animals unless guided to do so. Use antibacterial wash or soap to clean your hands after being with the animals.
  • Use quiet voices and avoid quick movements around animals. The smaller you make yourself, the better the sheep will like it. Do not run or make a lot of noise.
  • Stay off farm machinery and equipment.
  • Do not climb on gates or fences (some may be electrified). Make sure gates are closed securely behind you.
  • Do not throw rocks or other objects.
  • Do not go into creeks.
  • HAVE FUN!
